Dr. Harleen Kaur is an experienced board certified family practice doctor. She completed her family medicine residency at North Shore University Hospital in Glen Cove, NY, where she also spent a year as a chief resident. As a primary care physician, Dr. Kaur firmly believes in patient education and open communication as tools that enhance disease prevention and promote healthy self. During her residency training she conducted research project that revealed better outcomes in diabetes by effectively teaching patients about the importance of prevention and early intervention. Dr. Kaur completed medical school from Guru Govind Singh Medical College, Punjab, India. Before starting her own medical office in Parlin / Sayreville NJ, Dr. Kaur was practicing family medicine at Family Care Center, Stoneham, MA and Walk in clinic at Lynn Community Health Center, Lynn, MA. She is affiliated with Raritan Bay Medical Center Perth Amboy and Old Bridge divisions. She is a member of American Medical Association (AMA) and American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).
